Jay & Jay Industries was contracted by Queensland Urban Utilities to supply and install a section of Silt and Sediment boom to act as a filter on the treatment ponds due to low levels of water. The submerged pumps were picking up large amounts of sediments leading to clogging and failure. QUU devised an area of exclusion were clean water column could be found above the pond’s pump system. J&J was tasked with the fabrication and installation and our client was exceedingly happy with the outcome.
